PRESS RELEASE : Devin Bing is Back at Somethin' Jazz Club, Featuring Special Guest; Antoine Drye




New York, NY, March 23, 2012 –  In the highly anticipated follow up to his last performance at New York's SOMETHIN' JAZZ CLUB, Devin Bing is taking his July 22nd show in a brand new direction. Devin Bing & The Secret Service will hit the stage with fresh arrangements, new material and different take on the Devin Bing experience.

This time, Devin will perform along side special guest and renowned New York trumpet master, Antoine Drye. Antoine, who is known as "The Beast on the Brass" has worked with the likes of Delfeayo/Ellis/Jason Marsalis, Wycliffe Gordon, Wessell Anderson, Eric Lewis, John Boutte, Wilson Pickett, Paul Simon, Daniel Lanois, Brian Blade, Mark Whitfield, Donald Harrison, Lafayette Harris, The Brand New Heavies and many others.

In addition to his own lofty musical accomplishments, Antoine Drye founded Dirty Soap Ent., a production company/recording studio located in Soho, New York in 2006. He has produced and recorded many projects for varied styles of artists including Somi Sunshine, Mark Whitfield, Stacy Dillard, Orrin Evans, Sean Jones and many more. He is presently co-leading a quintet w/vocalist Vondie Curtis-Hall, in addition to doing work as a sideman.

Together Bing & Drye will redefine an evening in Jazz with a modern take on the art of song stylizing, featuring a repertoire of high anticipated new material along with some fan favorites. The audience can expect seamless vocals, high energy entertainment and of course, the notes of jazz, R&B and soul!
